Spinning is one of my main values in life. I view it as an expression of myself. To see a dance floor full of people is definitely exhilarating. I started spinning before I ever knew what parties were. When I was 15 one of my older friends had already been spinning regularly for a chicago based production company, True Family Unit. I'd walk over to his house after school and smoke a blunt, then walk downstairs and awe at what he could do on the decks. Now I've been spinning for almost 3 and 1/2 years and I've met more people than I ever thought I could. Along with long time friend dj Drama and recent acquaintance Paul Johnson, we've been throwing small parties showcasing Paul's newest tracks. I now hold two residencies, one at Club Eden and one at Rapture spinning the latest and greatest house tracks. My goal is to be a DJ, and a producer as well, to spin an entire set of my music and still move the crowds. what I'm listening to right now: |
